Sophie Guidolin has caused quite a stir online after putting a bizarre twist on a viral pasta recipe.
The controversial fitness influencer, who preaches a healthy lifestyle online, took to Instagram earlier this week to share a very different version of the viral 'marry me pasta'.
The recipe traditionally containschicken breast, garlic and herbs, pasta, sun-dried tomatoes, cream or an alternative like evaporated milk, plus flour to thicken the cream.
But Sophie, 35, ignored several flavour enhancers for her version, taken from a Woolworths recipe, and instead added a whole can of sweetened condensed milk for the creamy texture.
The condensed milk Sophie used contains approximately 16 servings in a 395grams can and 55grams of sugar per 100 grams, which means the meal she prepared would have contained more than 215 grams of sugar for the entire dish.

Her recipe, as stated on her website, contains four servings which would reach over 50grams of sugar.
Sugar should only make up 10 per cent or less of a person's daily energy intake, so about 50 grams of sugar per day for an adult, according to the World Health Organisation(WHO).
Despite the influencer noting she was 'originally doing this as a joke', Sophie sat and chowed down on dish which she claimed was 'soooo good' that she even ate it off the table.
'OMG you need to try this,' she wrote in her caption.

But her followers were skeptical, expressing their concern about the high sugar content the fitness guru was promoting.
'Dessert and dinner in one? The sugar content in that would be huge!'one user commented.
'I'm guessing it was meant to be evaporated milk, not condensed milk??' added another.
'If you don’t know by now this person is a grifter… lol SWEETENED condensed milk but hold the flour? I’m done hahahaha,' someone else wrote.

The star made a bizarre Instagram post which slammed hosts Amy, Sophie and Kate Taeuber, all 34, for speculating on her rumoured fourth marriage on their popular Outspoken podcast.
'Oh, the irony of the bulls**t that is social media,' Sophie began her scathing message to the Outspoken podcast as she shared a selfie of herself lying in a hospital bed.
'When you have no idea what someone else is going through yet feel you have a right to say your opinion on a story that you know nothing about.'
'Judge away, just make sure your house is glass, clean and your husband isn't one of the ones in my DMs,' she finished.
The backlash didn't end there, with Sophie's new beau Nicholas also jumping to her rescue and slamming the podcast.
'Must be nice having nothing better to do with your life,' he wrote under a post they made promoting their latest episode which talks about the marriage rumours Sophie and Nicholas started.

The sisters were quick to hit back at the personal trainer, replying with: 'It's true our podcast does take up a lot of our lives, seeing as it is one of the multiple businesses we run.
'I suppose you have to put the hard work in to crack 10 million streams. We love what we do though and think it's important to analyse influencer culture.
'We're not sure why you're so upset over us discussing information your partner so willingly shared.'

Sophie recently shared photos to Instagram of herself wearing what appeared to be a diamond ring on her wedding finger.
She was also seen wearing the ring in a recent YouTube video which eagle-eyed followers were quick to notice, sparking rumours she had secretly wed Nicholas just weeks after going public with their relationship.
Last Thursday,the mother-of-four also shared a photo of Nicholas wearing a silver band on his wedding finger as the couple visited a cafe.
Sophie also recently shared a video toYouTube in which she referred to Nicholas as her 'husband' and offered to give him a 'Best Husband of the Year 2024' trophy.
