We start in the centre and walk through Spitalsgasse and Brunnenstraße towards Petersberg, the next hill. There we follow the markings for the Way of St James and walk straight ahead to the plateau of the Petersberg with good views in all directions and the interesting excavations. We then walk back to the turn-off to the right down to Bechtolsheim. At the end of the vineyard, we turn left and head for the Simultankirche St. Maria und St. Christopherus. We follow Langgasse to the west, cross Gau-Oderheimer-Straße and walk parallel to Biebelnheimer Straße along the vineyard to Biebelnheim. We follow the main road up the slope to a fork, where we take the right-hand road. After the retention basin, we turn left at the second crossroads and then come to the L414. Follow this road to the right, then turn left at the next junction. From there, we follow the signposted path under the A63 motorway to Spiesheim with its beautiful old buildings and a church with a defence tower (1050). We return to the L414 via Heuerstraße and Oberstraße. At the Becker winery, we leave the main road and follow the agricultural path to the right out onto the plateau with the Way of St James markings. Turn right at the third crossroads and left again at the next one, heading north. We follow the second left turn until we reach the L401. There we turn right to the next crossroads, where we turn left into the centre of Worrstadt.

In Worrstadt, we take Friedrich-Ebert-Straße until we cross the railway line and then follow Sulzheimer Straße to the second Weingartenweg. At the next junction, we turn left again and then immediately right. Next we head for the Schildberg tower. We continue straight ahead until we cross the Sulzheimer Bach stream in the valley and come to a crossroads. Now we turn north and at the barbecue area at the fork, we continue left. Now we can continue straight ahead along the slope to Vendersheim. Alternatively, you can follow the Way of St James markings into the valley after 1.5 kilometres and then climb back up to the village.

We cross the village and head straight towards the vineyard tower. The path now continues along the edge of the terrain above Wolfsheim and turns northwards. The markings guide us to the K15, where we turn left. (With GPS you can also cut off a little). At the next junction, turn right again to Oberhilbersheim.
