The whole ‘Cowboy’ thing was super f*ckin hot.
The boots!🫣 Oh my god. Everyone in the reviews were in fact correct. That was a really f*cking hot scene.

Plus they were super cute together. I loved the sassiness and bickering in the beginning and the playful teasing throughout the rest.

Clio coming in hot with the erotic and kinky! This series has been fun and I enjoyed Raider and Mari's story. Mari is a galactic star and is kidnapped by Raider who intends to use her to clear his name. However, he isn't prepared for Mari being his true mate.

These two get hot and heavy and work together to not only clear Raider's criminal record but to be together forever!

“You’re mine,” I said. “I can’t let you go, Mari. I never want to let you go.”

If you like alien romances with a bit of a western feel and plenty of kinky debauchery this is your next read for sure!

Wow, okay, this is definitely something I wasn't expecting Evans to write. Did I have Clio Evans writing a space cowboy, western romance on my bingo card? Nope, no I did not. This was fun, steamy, at times a little cheesey especially that freaking duel, and it was just a fun little time. As with the first book, Madam Moonie, I love her and I need her to have her own book, ASAP! I thought the chemistry between Mari and Raider was really well done and the fact that they like to do matching outfits had me in a fit of giggles.

My only complaint with this book was the brothers. Our male lead is named Raider and the twin brother's name is Rider. Now this may just be a me thing, but while reading this novella, due to their names being similar and close in pronunciation, a lot of times it came off as the same name being said. It almost felt like a very easy way to avoid being creative with names or even trying to avoid making the two brothers stand apart from each other as individuals. Which was such a surprise because this isn't the first time the author has wrote about twin brothers and in that book they were both different as individuals, and stood out as their own selves. So it was odd that we didn't see much individualism here with the two twins outside of one is a good guy and the other is a bad guy dynamic.

Overall, I still had a fun time with this read despite the names throwing me for loops. There were some really great quotes about family and love in this novella that I highlighted so fast. It was a lot of fun! I think I'm most excited for the third book in this series to come out because it takes place on forest planets and I'm ready to see if Max will take the stage, see new planets, meet new aliens species, and just continue with this fun time. I'm also a lover of Mass Effect so are we really surprised that I'm excited about these books and this series? Still hoping for that Madam Moonie story!

I enjoyed 'Cosmic Love' and was so hyped to see this world explored more in this sequel!

The Good
The plot in this book is much more connected to the main characters and more interesting than that of the first book. I actually cared about its conclusion and how Mari and Rider were going to move forward. There was seemingly much more smut too which was a bonus!

But Clio Evans always proves she knows what she’s doing. I loved these two and their connection. And the spice made me want to launch myself into space to find this guy. Highly recommend this series!

And this bad boy has continued the run. Mari and Raider are brilliant, smouldering, on the run after a kidnapping with the intention to clear their name like a brilliant story from the wild west.

This book has it all.

I'm in love with this series so far! I love the humans alien relationships.
Mari and Raider were the hottest so far with all the fun dynamics their relationship demanded. I never wanted to meet a 4 armed alien so bad in my life til now 😂😂
Other than the hottest spice scenes around these here parts 😉 the charming connection between the two was amazing.

This was cute and hot but westerns just aren’t my cup of tea! The plot was face paced though, I just didn’t really connect to any of it. 3.5 rounded up.

Clio is a confort author for me and this book was delightful.

Mari is such a badass and her relationship with Raider is sweet and funny - and very much spicy, of course.

I'm even more intrigued about THE Madam Moonie, and I think Mr. Mysterious Captain will have something to add to her story.

This was a super fun mash-up of alien and Western romance! The spice had more of the classic Clio Evans vibes but the romance was super sweet. Gotta love a cowboy outlaw with a heart of gold.

Had such fun reading this sweet and spicy alien romance. I absolutely loved how sassy Mari, our heroine, is. I'm not really a cowboy girl, but I found Raider to be absolutely charming and I honestly need me a man like him. The devotion to pleasuring his mate was 😚👌

Raider has four arms, a tail with a stinger, 2 *very girthy* pëëṅś & a rod devoted to one singular action - to s🪷ck. Clio writes to every person's type of fantasy with their stories. 🥵🔥💋 I am 100% here for all of it. 😉 As with all of Clio's stories - she has TWs listed, so definitely check them out. It’s only right for me to have a guilty pleasure smutty read every month. Because who else am I to turn to when I need well descriptive and effective spice scenes if it’s not Clio Evans?
I’ve read the first book of the series Cosmic Kiss around the time it first came out last year, and what sold me was the GORGEOUS art. Now I am back with Cosmic Rush, which follows Mari and Raider.
An alien cowboy… weird but interesting. Oddly interesting because now imma think all aliens have cowboy accents. LOL
I’m not opposed to fast burns if they make sense, and Cosmic Rush made sense. I mean if you’re stranded with someone for says, you’re bound to fall in love with them if they’re a hot alien.
The plot was okay. I thought more could’ve been done with it, even if the author wanted it remain at 22 chapters. But I did enjoy the love between Mari and Raider. It was so sweet. Like can an alien come love on me like this?
The spice scenes were creative and nice to read. The boots? I fear I make never look at books the same. Talk about a kink!
Looking forward to the next book!

Raider (MMC) and Mari (FMC) were *chef's kiss*. Yes, they started with a very unfortunate meeting (the opposite of a meet cute) BUT a little forced proximity can solve all of those problems 😉. The smut was hot as is all Clio Evans smut so I'd defo recommend if you're into paranormal / alien romance, cowboys, space cowboys with 4 arms and 2 co*cks that come with a sucker for your cl*t 😄 Enjoy!!

I had never read a cowboy romance in my life and after reading Cosmic Crush I think Clio has awakened something on me. I am absolutely feral for Raider. This four-armed, stinger-tailed big boy is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. You can tie me up and call me Sugar anytime, sir. And our FMC, the one and only Miss Mercury, is the glitter-gun slinging feisty diva of my dreams. She definitely makes Raider work for it but ultimately who could resist such a hunk?

This book is thrilling, spicy, tender and hilarious in a way that Clio has mastered. It’s a rootin’ tootin’ good time and the perfect follow up to Cosmic Kiss. I can’t wait for our next stop! Space Burlesque forever!

Once again, I loved the characters of this story. More adventures of the Galactic Gems is just what the doctor ordered! And this story, a mash up of sci-fi and western...it's like a match made in spicy heaven! And the spice was A-MAZ-ING! I mean, Raider has two 🍆's and a tail that gives Mari the most mind shattering org*sms of her life! But the spice wasn't everything, the romance between Mari and Raider was beautiful and something I've expected from this series.

Not gonna lie, I found myself opening up to the idea of some the kinks in this book...

First off I am lovingggg this series so far and I cant wait to see what’s to come! It started with a bang and it instantly catches your attention and you dont want to stop reading. I always enjoy the way Clio writes these stories, how they started with hating each other and then become so inseperable and in love. Raider and Mari’s mating starts of rocky but it turns into the most spicy and amazing love! This series is so enjoyable and it only gets better the more you read! I look forward to the next book in this series ❤️

HOT DANG! Raider and Mari’s chemistry was out of this world! I really enjoyed their story, their chaotic and less than ideal meet cute, and the budding bond and relationship they built. Clio Evans ramped up the schemxy scenes tenfold y’all! Be prepared for some steamy goodness! They’re just so cute together and their dynamic so lovely. Seeing Stella and her mates, Madam Moonie, and everyone come together to help and support Mari and her mate just made me love this found family even more. There was just so much to love!

I really enjoyed Raider and Mari and the Wild West galaxy. I wish there had been more conflict/plot but we got plenty of spice. It’s insta-love and insta-mates. They were cute together. It lacked a bit of fire for me towards the second half but we get our HEA. I just think the end fight with the brother was too quick and got resolved too quickly. I do enjoy this world though. If it had been a bit longer with more depth I think I would have rated it higher. This is a novella length book though. And I’m excited to read about the next pairing and what Clio comes up with 😁

Swoon worthy

This is my first Clio Evans book, I know for shame on me for not reading the first one but now I have to. I absolutely enjoyed the story it was fun, cute, and sexy. Raider and Mari were so cute together and the chemistry was great between the two of them. The plot to smut ratio was more smut than plot. The plot had some holes but still enjoyable.

I wasn't sure how to feel about a western space cowboy adventure. But I found myself having a great time. I honestly wouldn't mind if there were more space alien cowboys out there.

This is SO CUTE, I loved every second of it. I loved the first Galactic Gems book as well, but I liked this one even better!

Truly top tier spice coupled with an adorable fast-burn romance made this one of my favorite alien romances I've ever read. The burlesque aspect gave the book a very specific aesthetic that, for me, was just so fun.

Mari and Raider's whirlwind romance was quick, but felt very real to me. They're both just so lovely and it was very satisfying to read their darling (and extremely hot) story.

Cosmic Crush was so good and you’ll definitely have a crush on the MMC Raider! This books gives us a little bit of action and a whole lot of swoon worthy moments.

I get a bit of western steampunk alien vibes from this story and love it so very much. I’m not the biggest sci-fi romance lover but Clio makes me feral for it!

Mari is performing as a headliner when she is taken by Raider. Fate has a funny way of showing its face. They get caught in a dust storm that will last a few days at least. What happens when their attraction reaches its breaking point? Raider is trying clear his name from being framed. Will he be able to pull it off and get the girl?

Clio Evans' books are always a hit for me but this one knocked it out of the park. We start off seeing the stars of the first book, Madam and Stella, as Mari gets ready to perform. Suddenly we get our a$$less-chapped wearing hero, Raider, who immediately stole my heart. The first time he said sugar, I swear it was like Pedro Pascal whispering it in my ear. This alien has everything a woman needs and from his care and sxx drive, Mari agrees.

You will get absolutely caught up in the love, Western charm, and out of this world sxx scenes. As always, check tw but I could not recommend this whole series more!
